When Pro features matter
Pro is designed for more complex Windows removal scenarios. Its advanced workflows include Forced Uninstall for a missing or broken standard uninstaller, Quick/Multiple Uninstall for selected application sets and installation monitoring/log-based workflows. Use those tools selectively rather than as a default cleaning operation.
Forced Uninstall versus normal removal
If an application’s standard uninstaller is available, run it first. Forced Uninstall becomes relevant when the application is absent from the program list but a verified installation path or related executable remains. Review the results by path and publisher before deletion.
Monitoring and backups
Installation monitoring can help correlate later changes with an installed application, but a trace is not a substitute for a tested personal-file backup. Keep application profiles, passwords and license information separately when planning a clean reinstall. Check the current product edition terms before buying.
