Revo Uninstaller Free vs Pro
Compare editions by removal workflow, monitoring, batch work, portability, and support expectations.
Revo Uninstaller is a Windows utility developed by VS Revo Group. Version-sensitive features should be checked against primary documentation before a decision.
Free or Pro: feature comparison
Revo Uninstaller Free covers core program removal, leftover inspection and Hunter Mode. Pro adds more advanced removal and maintenance workflows, including Forced Uninstall, more comprehensive scanning, Quick/Multiple Uninstall and installation monitoring. The exact package and entitlement depend on the current release and edition.
- Choose Free for an occasional uninstall on a personal Windows PC when a normal uninstall and careful leftover review are enough.
- Consider Pro for recurring troubleshooting, a broken uninstall entry, installation logs or frequent batch-management tasks.
- Consider Pro Portable only when a portable licensed workflow is actually needed; portability does not automatically mean a free license.
What does not change
Neither edition makes it safe to delete unknown shared Registry keys or application data. Always distinguish program files from user-created projects and profiles. For exact current entitlements, compare the edition matrix supplied by the software developer.
